Renell Kokshetau LLP, the subsidiary company of Rönesans Sağlık Yatırım A.Ş. in Kazakhstan made a credit demand of € 110 million to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to finance Kokshetau Hospital with a capacity of 630 beds foreseen to be put into life with the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The loan application has been taken up for scrutiny reportedly as a conclusive decision is expected to be taken as of April 2024. As will be recalled, Rönesans Group had also recently made a loan demand of € 110 million to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) TEBA:December 11, 2023 As will be known, Project Company Renell Kokshetau LLP had signed a 7-year PPP model contract with the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 22, 2022 for the design and construction works, equipment, maintenance and financing procedures regarding the hospital with a capacity of 630 beds foreseen to be built in Kokshetau. The company was conducting talks with European and Japanese finance institutions to finance the project. On the other hand, Project Company Renell Kokshetau LLP had also signed a cooperation agreement with the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) in 2021 regarding the construction and operation of general hospitals in cities of Kokshetau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Aktau, Taraz, Pavlodar and Karaganda in Kazakhstan. Construction works are still continued as the hospital is foreseen to be opened in 2025.
