The Task of Preparing the Budget Is Assigned to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance

According to the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette, the duties and authorities for preparation of the central budget has been assigned from the President's Office to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance until the completion of the organization of the Department of Strategy and Budget....

The Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated July 31, 2018, assigns the duty and authority to prepare the budget provisionally from the President's Office to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. 

Accordingly, it is resolved that the duties and authorities for preparation and implementation of the Central Administration Budget, which were assigned to the President or the President's Office as per the Law no. 5018 dated December 10, 2003, on Public Financial Administration and Control will be exercised by the Minister or Ministry of Treasury and Finance until the organization of the Department of Strategy and Budget is completed pursuant to the article 213, paragraph 1, sub-item (gg) of the Statutory Decree no. 703 dated July 2, 2018.
