Public Procurements Role in Technological Transformation, National and Local Production Conference will be held on February 6, 2018 at ATO Congresium under the sponsorship of Ministry of Science Industry and Technology Science Industry and Technology. In the Conference, the impact of the stage reached in domestic and national production and public procurements on technology development and domestic production planned to be reviewed. It is also planned to consider the improvement of technology production infrastructure in Turkey, utmost use of domestic possibilities and capacities, considering the efficiency of public procurement mechanisms in maintaining the sustainability of industrial and technological successes. In the conference, defining the aspects to be coordinated within the coverage of Works conducted by different public administrations through public procurements in terms of domestic production, industrial development and Access to technology and how improvement of public-private partnership can be contributed will be discussed. Opening speech of the Conference to be delivered by Minister of Science Industry and Technology Dr. Faruk Özlü The opening speech of the conference to have 4 sessions, will be delivered by Minister of Science Industry and Technology Dr. Faruk Özlü. In the Closing Session of the Conference, speeches will be delivered by Undersecretary of Ministry of Development Cüneyd Düzyol and Undersecretary of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez. The speakers in the Conference will be from the ministries and private sector, namely Head of Finance Ministry Budget and Financial Control General Directorate Public Procurements Coordination Department Yücel Süzen, Head of Ministry of Science Industry and Technology Science and Technology General Directorate SİP Department Hande Ünal, AYGM Director General Erol Çıtak, MENR Renewable Director General Oğuz Can, Ministry of Development Undersecretary M.
