Turkish Companies Signed Investment Agreements in Kazakhstan

Alsim Alarko has signed Memorandum of Understanding for Grand Almati Beltway Construction and Operation with Kazakhstan Ministry of Investment and Development. Investment agreements totaling to USD 590 million have been signed between Kazakh Invest National Company and Çalık Holding, Yıldırım Holding, Yıldızlar SSS Holding, Agrobest Group and other Turkish companies

It has been learnt that in the course of Astana visit of President Tayyip Erdoğan, a series of agreements were signed with Kazakhstan envisaging investments by Turkish companies totaling to USD 590 million, among them are ‘Joint Economy Program Action Plan’.

Among the protocols signed before the Presidents of the two countries are Turkey-Kazakhstan Mixed Economic Commission Tenth Meeting Protocol, new Synergy-Joint Economy Program, 2017-2020 Period Action Plan Protocol.

In the course of discussions, an investment agreement signed between Kazakh Invest National Company and Çalık Holding, Yıldırım Holding, Yıldızlar SSS Holding, Agrobest Group and other Turkish companies totaling to USD 590 million. Within the coverage of Agreements, construction material production, machinery manufacturing, chemicals management, metallurgy and energy production also planned to be carried out.

Alsim Alarko signed Grand Almatı Beltway Construction and Operation Memorandum of Understanding

The agreement pertaining to Grand Almatı Beltway Construction and Operation has been signed between Alsim Alarko Chairman Ayhan Yavrucu and Kazakhstan Minister of Investment and Development Jenis Kasımbek.

In the announcement made to KAP, Alarko Holding said, “As the result of discussions conducted between Consortium and Kazakhstan Ministry of Investment and Development, Memorandum of Understanding pertaining to signing the privilege agreement as soon as possible after the legal arrangements of Kazakhstan government, has been signed between the heads of State of the two countries on Saturday, September 9, 2017”.

Consortium led by Alsim Alarko Sanayi had made the best offer in PPP tender related to construction and operation of Kazakhstan, Alma-ata Beltway and contract talks started in March 2016.
