Prime Minister Yıldırım Announced Investment Support Program Started in 23 Provinces
Prime Minister Yıldırım announced at Attraction Centers Program Starting Launchement, "In 23 provinces, number of applications is 1,200, total investment cost is TL 19 billion 600 million. Consultancy services free of charge will be extended to those who make investment. Furthermore, location will be allocated for investment. The capital of the equipments, machinery to be used in the building will also be met. We will extend operation credit with low interest rate as well."
Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has elaborated the details of Attraction Centers Program Starting program at Çankaya Kiosk. Reporting the aim of the Program is to make awaited investments while cleaning the regions from terror burden, Yıldırım has announced the preliminary demands collection period for investors was November 28 – January 14. He also noted that in 23 provinces, the number of applications was 1,200, total investment cost was TL 19 billion 600 million, estmated employment was 112,400. For investments, free of charge consultancy service, credit on suitable conditions, 20,000 square meter building and logistic support Prime Minister Yıldırım noted, " Free of charge consultancy services will be rendered to those who make investment. A good feasibility is the prerequisite of a sucessful investment. For this reason, we will extend consultancy service required for preparation of feasibility, for preparation of preliminary designs. We will also allot lands for investment. Buildings up to 20 thousand square meter will be supported. First 20 thousand will be relaized by the state, for others credit may be received. After 15 year lasted manufacturing work, factory building may be transferred with a symbolic price. If there is no land available in OSBs, a Treasury land will be allotted. The capital of the equipments, machinery to be used in the building will also be met. There is a privilege involved in doing this, if the equipments supplied from local sources, the terms of credit will be different from that of equipment supplied by importing We will extend operation credit with low interest rate as well. The credit will be extended on 6 year term with 2 year grace period if the equipments imported. If local machinery is bought, the grace period will be 3 years and term of credit will be 10 years. We encourage of domestic production. Money needed for working the work tables. We did not forget the basic fact that money was the water of life of a management, we will extend low interest operation credit on 4 year term with a grace period of first one year. We extend special logistic supports for those who wanted to develop the investment in the East. Some public buildings will be first used for call centers. 30% of the electricity used in data centers will be covered by the state. How the incentives will be used? There are investment support offices in Provinces, also development agencies of few provinces. Either investment support units willl be applied or Development Bank will be applied directly. Projects will be handed over to them and after scrutiny on the projects, the type and way of support will be defined." As it might be recalled, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has announced in September the incentive plans for new investments to enhance development in 23 provinces in East and Southeast (Gaziantep, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Batman, Adıyaman, Siirt, Mardin, Kilis, Şırnak, Ağrı, Ardahan, Bitlis, Bingöl, Elâzığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Hakkâri, Iğdır, Kars, Malatya, Muş, Tunceli, Van) TEBA:1781/ September 5, 2016.
