5th PPP in Turkey Forum

Organized by EEL Events, and sponsored by Garanti Bankası and Otoyol Yatırım ve İşletme A.Ş. among others, 5th PPP in Turkey Forum, which TEBA will be media partner, will be held in Ankara on November 24-25

In this period of challenging funding conditions and increased funding costs, funding of giant PPP projects in Turkey, which are contracted one after another, is one of the hottest topics.

Organized every year in Ankara by EEL Events, the 5th PPP in Turkey Forum where funding of PPP projects are discussed in detail by all domestic and foreign stakeholders will be held on November 24-25, 2016 in Mövenpick Hotel, Ankara.

As it is known, the Ministry of Health continues healthcare campus projects by PPP model in Turkey while giant BOT projects in transport sector are tendered one after another. The infrastructure works are still in progress in the New Airport Project in İstanbul, which is one of the largest projects in Turkey.

Preliminary agreements have been signed with contractors in Kurtköy-Akyazı and Kınalı-Odayeri sections of Northern Marmara Motorway that was recently tendered by BOT model. Funding negotiations for the projects are in progress. Application contracts of these motorway sections have not taken effect yet. Funding agreements should be clarified first.

A section of Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Savaştepe Motorway, including the Dardanelles Bridge, which is also a giant project, was also tendered on October 26, 2016. The latest status and funding conditions of these projects are expected to be addressed in the Forum.
