According to a disclosure made by Tekfen Holding, Tekfen İnşaat signed the final contract worth $ 2.1 billion in relation with the motorway project in Qatar. It is stated in the disclosure that the final contract has been signed for the turnkey construction works of the motorway and the delivery of works at the end of the 36th month. The 34 km motorway with 10 lanes in each direction will also consist of junctions, viaducts, underpasses and overpasses. Tekfen İnşaat undertook Al-Khor Expressway project to complete before Qatar World Cup that will be realized in 2022. As will be recalled, Tekfen İnşaat signed the preliminary contract for the construction works of a motorway in Qatar with a ceremony participated by Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communication Minister Ahmet Arslan and Municipality and Environment Minister Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Rumaihi of Qatar TEBA:1779/ August 23, 2016
